orders, order matching process, the mechanics of margins, mark-to- market
settlements and deliveries.
Make participants gain understanding of basis movement in the financial markets and its effect on the short and long hedger under different market conditions.
Provide conceptual understanding about the concept of contango and backwardation and their implication on the hedger’s payoff. Expose participants to the concept of inter-, intra-, and butterfly spread and how to execute them for one’s advantage.
Equip participants with the concept of arbitrage trading between the spot and futures market to lock in anticipated profit.
Provide conceptual understanding about the fundamentals and various terminologies of options trading and pricing. Make participants understand how bull & bear spreads can reduce cost basis of the trade.
This course will help participants obtain knowledge on futures and
options. Participants will be able to pursue a career in the commodities derivatives market.
The fee for the programme is Rs 5,000 per participant (non-residential), plus taxes.
