This programme has been designed to provide basic to advanced insights into
the mechanics of emissions trading. The concept of emissions trading is a
relatively recent activity. In India, carbon financial instruments have been launched by
MCX, India’s No. 1 commodity exchange. It is important to understand the mechanics
of trading in carbon credits and carbon financial instruments to benefit from
emission reduction projects. This programme aims to bridge the gap for individuals
looking forward to build upon their domain knowledge expertise in the field of
emissions trading.
The fee for the programme is Rs 3,500 per participant (non-residential), plus taxes.
It includes tuition, presentation material, etc. The fee should be paid at Fortell in
advance by a demand draft or cheque in favour of ‘Multi Commodity Exchange
of India Ltd’ payable at Mumbai,
Mr Hitesh Sethia holds a Master’s degree in Finance from Indore University and hasbeen with MCX since 2005. He has represented the Exchange in various seminarsand also at various reputed institutes like IIMs (Ahmedabad and Bangalore),Welingkar Institute of Management Development and Research, Symbiosis Centre forManagement and Human Resource Development, National Institute for AgricultureMarketing, IPS Academy (Indore), etc. He has also designed and organized a numberof short-term and long-term programmes that meet the demands in the commodityecosystem.
